RESILIENT COMMUNICATIONS · PUERTO RICO
Resilient communications planning and operational awareness for Puerto Rico.
SKYNET is a Puerto Rico-focused resilient communications project built around LoRa/Meshtastic networking, organization-operated gateways, fixed and backup sites, RF engineering, and operational awareness. The public site exposes planning and environmental tools while protected network traffic and member operations remain inside the authorized area.
ABOUT SKYNET
A communications network built for resilience, not just coverage.
SKYNET combines Meshtastic/LoRa radios, organization gateways, and the WATCHTOWER software platform to observe network health, support RF planning, and maintain communications awareness across Puerto Rico. The operational side is designed around CORE, BACKUP, and RELAY roles so the network can continue functioning when a primary site or normal infrastructure is unavailable. The member platform adds missions, operator accountability, infrastructure references, gateway health, RF observations, and communications-path intelligence.
